We thank all parishioners who have donated graciously to our fundraiser to put Ten Rwandan children through high school in Rwanda. We are on target to raise the funds needed to accomplish this. Any parishioner interested can also attend our upcoming Variety Show on Saturday, November 14th. Tickets are $15 per person and sales will help us reach our goal.

We thank all parishioners and the Knights of Columbus who kept prayerful vigil with us on October 31st at the abortion clinic in Attleboro. We had another “save”, that is, a saved life as a woman who exited the clinic said that something was tugging at her heart when she woke up that morning and she decided to not abort her child. We thank God for his grace which no doubt stirred the conscience of this young woman. We continue to pray for her and for her beloved baby.

On Monday, Nov 2nd we will have 2 Masses in remembrance of all souls (all who have died) at 9am and 7pm. After the 7pm Mass we will process to the Acushnet Cemetery with lit candles and when we arrive we will pray for the souls of the dead speaking aloud all the names of those who had funerals at our parish since the last All Soul’s Day. Please join us as we respect the dead with an offering of intercessory prayer which is a great Spiritual Work of Mercy.

October 31st is the next date of our parish vigil for the 40Days For Life. On this day from 6am to 4pm we will be praying in solidarity for unborn children and their mothers across the street from the last abortion mill in diocesan territory in Attleboro, MA.
All parishioners are invited to join us and to take an hour to witness to the sanctity of life and to all those who enter or drive by the clinic on that day.
