EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

Public Adoration Hours

Monday:  9:30am – 8:30pm
Tuesday – Friday:  6:30am – 8:30pm
Saturday:  6:30am – 2:45pm

Come visit Jesus in the Eucharist.
He is always happy to see you here!

Eucharistic Adoration is the act by which we adore the Real Presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.  Jesus himself said “This is my Body” (Lk 22; 19).  The priest pronounces these words at Holy Mass during the consecration, when bread becomes the Body of Christ, our spiritual food leading us to eternal life.  As the Real Presence, the Eucharist is Christ in his enduring existence on earth.  We retain this Blessed Sacrament in exposition in our adoration chapel – encased in a vessel known as a monstrance – so that all may adore Jesus in quiet and reverent meditation.

You are welcome to visit with Jesus in Adoration during the hours noted above.   You may pray kneeling or sitting but please show due reverence and respect in silent devotion.  We have also made available in the church and adoration chapel, Bibles and books for adorers who seek insight from spiritual reading.

Here at St. Francis Xavier we have several overnight Adoration hours which are not open to the general public. Our Adoration starts on Mondays after the 9:00am Mass and continues until 2:45pm on Saturdays when we end with benediction.

If you are interested in becoming a regular adorer, please call the parish office and we will have our Adoration Coordinator contact you.
